Shawn Callahan
Shawn is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and ViaSat’s IT Security Manager with over 12 years of experience in the information security field. Prior to joining ViaSat last year, Shawn spent the previous two and a half years working in Kuwait in support of the US ARMY’s mission in the Middle East. This experience has given Shawn insight into DOD Information Assurance and compliance along with IT risk management. Before moving to Kuwait Shawn spent 9 years with SAIC working in their Security Operations Center supporting multiple commercial and government contracts.
Michael Campbell
Michael Campbell is a certified Industrial Security Specialist (ISS) through the Defense Security Service (DSS) and one of ViaSat’s Security Managers with over 10 years of experience in the Industrial Security field. Prior to joining ViaSat in 2010, Michael served as a Special Agent at DSS supporting the southern California cleared defense contractor (CDC) community for more than two years. He is one of the founders of the San Diego Industrial Counterintelligence Working Group (SDICIWG) and has provided assistance to numerous Industrial Security professionals throughout our community. Before moving to San Diego, Michael was a Corporate Security Specialist with SAIC and assisted over 60 cleared facilities with their U.S. Government compliance programs.
