Mike has worked within the security industry for over 16 years. After graduating from California State University San Marcos with a BA in History and Political Science, Mike has spent much of his career in security operations servicing and consulting high-tech and biotech companies. Currently, Mike is proud to be part of the Corporate Security team at General Atomics; an industry leader for high-technology systems development ranging from the nuclear fuel cycle to remotely operated surveillance aircraft, airborne sensors, and advanced electric, electronic, wireless and laser technologies.
Mike believes strongly in giving back to both the security industry and his community. Mike serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for San Diego County Crime Stoppers. In addition, Mike is a member of the Torrey Pines Security Council and served a two-year term as a Planning Commissioner for the City of San Marcos.
One of Mike’s most exciting career highlights occurred in 2003, when he was honored to be selected as part of a special covert security team protecting Super Bowl XXXVII in San Diego, California.
